Marvel movies: Company chief explains why the new superhero films come later

Only last night we reported that Disney has moved the theatrical release of several Marvel movies \ - partly by several months. An exact explanation, why it has come to these delays, however, did not exist. But now Kevin said, President from Marvel Studios told himself to comment. In a short interview on the red carpet with the magazine Variety, he tried to bring some light into the dark.

It is on shifts and changes in production. Since we have so many slots, we can easily exchange the slots. All Marvel slots are the same, we only exchange the movies that appear. Yes, Strange has appeared at six Weeks postponed. Therefore, there will be five months between the Marvel films instead of three. But I think we re clear.

Further details did not named Kevin Feige in the interview. However, his statements with some information are covered by non-defined sources that are available to the Magazine Variety. Accordingly, the shifts actually have purely production-related reasons and have nothing to do with the concern that the films could not generate the desired revenue due to the continued Corona pandemic.

In the recent past, several films have proven the opposite. Among other things, Venom was able to set up a new pandemic record before Brief. Also the latest Marvel movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was anything but a flop.
