PS5: Sony does not make any losses with the consoles - but only with a model
With game consoles, manufacturers usually do not earn money - at least until some time after the launch. Nintendo is the great exception, which according to analysts with the switch from the first day to make profits. By contrast, Microsoft has allegedly never earned only one cent with an Xbox. The hardware losses are re-recorded by software sales and services of services (e.g., Xbox Game Pass). Sony, however, now announces that the PS5 finally gets gains.
