Crusader Kings III: Strategy game from March for Xbox and PlayStation

The noble punk medieval strategy will soon come to the consoles of the Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5.

The acclaimed strategy role play Crusader Kings III of Paradox Interactive will be released on 29 March 2022 for consoles. This gives a completely new group of players the opportunity to build a legendary dynasty in historical strategy game.

In collaboration with the developer team of LAB42, Paradox has adapted the dynamic and constantly changing gameplay by Crusader Kings III to a new environment and used the unique features of the console game.

Few other games offer such a rich selection of strategic options: political marriages to connect nobility buildings, brutal wars to enforce quasi-legal demands, personal relationships to unite a fragmented rich, and even subtle intrigues to undermine rivals or turn off.

This also shows the trailer for announcing the console version:

Crusader Kings III for consoles offers a customized user interface and a control scheme that has been specially tailored to larger screens and console game pads. The completely new control allows the players to navigate quickly and easily through the menus of the game - with the help of triggers, bumpers and fast movements of the analog stick.

The console version also supports the most important functions of the Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5, such as superfast loading times for a seamless gaming experience as well as haptic and adaptive trigger controller feedback. Players can switch between the game and other applications like YouTube with Quick Resume, where they can watch a tutorial to reduce a peasant uprising.

The features of Crusader Kings III at a glance:

Characterized gameplay: Every character that players play or with which they interact has their own unique personality. Events and options in the game are largely determined by the type of person they play.

Infinite possibilities: The players take over any noble house of Iceland to India, Finland to Central Africa, over five centuries. They interact with wandering guests, stubborn children, twisted spy artists and sacred men in an ornate tapestry of medieval life.

Warfare: You collect your vassals and set up your soldiers to besieged enemy castles or spray rebellions. Personal skill on the battlefield can bring you great honor, but strategic planning is the way to victory.

Crusader Royal weddings: Players spread the DNA of their dynasty throughout the world and push their royal seal on the coats of arms of kingdoms and combines far and wide. They marry for the power will and educate children to raise claims to new countries.

Saints and sinners: Whether they keep their religious leaders loyalty or commit great crimes in the interest of the state, is in the hands of the players. If it comes hard on tough, you can always indulge in heretical activities or create a new religion that better meets its priorities.

The console version of Crusader Kings III can be pre-ordered for Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 shortly. The PC version has already been available since September 2020 in the PC Game Pass.
