Dragon Age: Cool fan

The games of the Dragon Age series are now looking back on a fairly long history, although they are more likely to be located as new RPGs. The release of Dragon Age: Origins, the first part, is now twelve years ago! As the intellectual successor of Baldur's Gate, the Bioware RPG relied on dark fantasy food, exciting group gameplay with demanding fights in a richly designed world. However, the latter has now set a lot of dust, which is why fans always wish for a remastered version, as she also received Mass Effect. But such wishes are probably not fulfilled after the developers' clarification. But of course that doesn't stop hard -working fans...

Dragon Age: Fan is making a remastered version of Origins

Talking Dragon Age: Combat (Fan Rant)

Via the well-known modding platform Nexusmods you come to the mod "Dragon Age Origins Unofficial Remaster" . But what exactly does this remaster version contain? Dalishious, which has worked with other modders, explains this on the Mod page: The goal is that Origins no longer looks as old without losing the style and feeling of the game. Accordingly, it is mainly about higher textures, some of which are designed by AI results, but also by hand. Some textures and objects are even simply from the Dragon Age sequels. Awakening, the expansion of original and the DLCs are compatible with these adjustments - the Ultimate Edition is the basis for the mod.

that is in the remaster mod for there: Origins

  • Higher -resolved textures
  • Higher -resolved models
  • More lively colors for the skin, hair and eyes of the characters as well as some basic additions
  • Some replacements for cutscenes with more cinema feeling
  • New presets and options for character creation
  • Slightly adapted head shapes for some NPCs -"still recognizable, but less silly." _

DLCs like Witch Hunt are also compatible with the Remaster-Mod to Dragon Age: Origin. (Image from the Unexpected version) Source: EA to install the mod, you need the Large Address Aware additional program, which is generally worthwhile for players from Dragon Age: Origins (buy now), even without mods. "Dragon Age Origins Unofficial Remaster" requires Laa. But don't worry, you will also find all of this in the installation instructions on the Mod page of Dalishious. Can you imagine playing the first part of Dragon Age again or even for the first time? Or is the general gameplay just too outdated? Tell us in the comments!
